So, it’s been a little over six months since I purchased Custom Gardens and I’ve been hard at work introducing efficiencies, making upgrades and adding a fresh twist on the great work Custom Gardens has been doing for almost 40 years. While many things have changed, many other things are still in progress. Above all, we’re dedicated to providing better service each and every day.
Following are some of the things you can expect as you see us online and in the community.
New Brand Image
I loved the old logo, but I felt like we were ready to improve this with a more professional image. Following you’ll see the old logo, followed by our new brand image.
We’ve replaced the logo on all of our vehicles and our new website features the new image throughout. You’ll also notice the new logo on all of our social media profiles. Currently we are working to transition all of our print collateral to the new logo.
New Website
We’ve been hard at work putting together a new website. With the help of our friends at Monti Design, you are currently looking at the finished product. I should say it’s almost finished. We understand that in order to keep you up to date, we have to keep our website fresh with new and updated content. Keep coming back to see new blog posts, news, new team members, specials, additions to our service and much, much more.
Renewed Presence in Social Media
I’m dedicated to staying in touch with our customers using the latest technologies available. I’m working on initiatives to be more active on Facebook, where we’ve already had a presence, but I have recently launched our new Twitter account and we’re working on getting our presence established better on LinkedIn and Pinterest. Over the coming months, we’ll explore how we can connect with you on other networks as well.
Online Payments
In an effort to streamline our billing process and make it more convenient for you to pay, we’ve introduced online bill pay through our website. Do you have an invoice you would like to pay now? Click here or navigate to our Resources Page and find the link to Pay a Bill.
New Email Communications
We’ve signed up for MailChimp to allow us to keep in touch with you through email. We’ll be using the software to send you updates about new services, special pricing, staff news and more. We’ll share with you our profiles on social media and let you know about contests and other ways to connect with us. We hope you’ll like what we send, so we welcome your feedback.
New Software
We’re also going digital! In an effort to make our email accessible on all devices, we’re signing up for Google Apps. This will allow us to receive and sync our email on all of our devices so I can get your email when I’m on the road, in the office, at home or where ever. Google apps will also allow us to bring our calendar online so our crews know where they are going, have access to directions and information quickly and can report changes back immediately.
We’re getting a grasp on how else we can use Google Apps to share files and bring the rest of our operation into the cloud for efficiency and better service delivery.
As promised, I’ll continue to look for more ways to offer our services better and faster and as we introduce other changes, we’ll keep you posted. Until then, keep checking back. I’m committed to keeping you updated through out blog along with several other communication outlets.
We hope you’ll enjoy this Spring in your beautiful yard and we hope you’ll reach out to us to help you make it more beautiful.
