David started his first landscape company at the young age of 15 when he fell in love with outdoor environments. He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Landscape Architecture in 1988, and soon thereafter founded his first award-winning design firm in 1990. David brings to Custom Gardens his passion for landscape architecture and his unique ability to translate a client’s vision into reality. His experience is in residential garden master planning, and he has created some of the finest gardens for commercial and educational campuses. In 2007, David created The Garden Beautiful, a charitable organization that provides design services and educates communities about landscape architecture, sustainability, and a greener environment. Through The Garden Beautiful, David has donated his services and resources to numerous Eagle projects for Boy Scouts of America, renovations for local parks, therapeutic gardens for schools for children with disabilities, and recreational areas for adult living facilities.
